You’ll notice a new structure in The Great Hall soon…a Maker Space!

Maker Space posterThe Library’s Maker Faire in April was so successful that we decided to keep the Maker mindset going. Maker-in-residence Joseph Schott will be building a Maker Space in The Great Hall, a place where people can come together to create, tinker, play and collaborate. The first project will be two 15-foot wooden airplanes, which will be displayed after they’re completed. Stay tuned for more information about what will be happening in the Maker Space.
