Guess who turns 70 today?  Paul McCartney, who will always be known as a member of the Beatles, is still composing, playing guitar, singing, and songwriting.

Who can forget America's introduction to him and the Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show on February 9, 1964?  How many of his songs can you hum?  He composed such favorites as Yesterday, Hey Jude, Love Me Do, Let It Be, Yellow Submarine, Eleanor Rigby, etc.  Who can forget his timely When I'm Sixty-Four?

Happy Birthday, Sir Paul!

May you have many more!

Here he is performing at the Diamond Jubilee Concert outside Buckingham Palace on June 4, 2012:
