Hi Library Friends!
My name is Rainbow Fish and
I live in Westport Children's Library. During the first
summer that I lived here hundreds of kids who came to the
library took a vote and that's how I got my name!
I am a "Betta" fish and
I come from Southeast Asia. Normally,
I live in very shallow water (like rice paddies.) I am very
special because I can breathe in water and take gulps
of air for oxygen! I usually stay quite still. The librarians
here take good care of me and my home.
