Climate Reality ProjectLewis Blaustein credit Chris RueliLewis Blaustein, a certified Climate Reality Project Leader will give an updated version of the slide show presentation that formed the basis of An Inconvenient Truth. The presentation is dramatically different than the movie (much more solutions oriented and a greater focus on the "denialist" industry), so there is significant news value for folks who'd seen the movie and and those who haven't.

After a 15 year career in one area of personal passion (sports, specifically sports marketing/sales/business development), Blaustein switched to Green/Sustainability Marketing in 2002. He was inspired as a patriotic reaction to 9/11--the idea that we're fueling the wars on terrorism that we're fighting by our profligate energy use. His passion for combatting the climate crisis soon followed. Since there were few jobs using his skill set, he quit his day job in '05 and launched Lewis Brand Solutions, Inc. as a (mostly) Green Marketing/Sponsorship Sales/Biz Dev consultancy. Since then he's worked with sustainable businesses large (Whole Foods, Starwood Hotels and the Empire State Building) and small to help them promote their sustainability good works, sell their products/services more effectively, partner with green events, etc.

Becoming a Climate Leader and motivating members of a wide variety of community groups to take significant micro and macro actions to combat the climate crisis is a natural extension of his sustainability journey.

The Climate Reality Project is bringing the facts about the climate crisis into the mainstream and engaging the public in conversation about how to solve it. Founded and chaired by Al Gore, Nobel Laureate and former Vice President of the United States. The Climate Reality Project has more than 5 million members and supporters worldwide.
