July Maker-in-Residence Joseph Schott: Un-Making!
Joseph Schott will be the first UN-MAKER in RESIDENCE for the month of JULY, aptly named because he will be helping participants TAKE THINGS APART!!!
Many, maybe most of the great inventors got started on their way because of curiosity about how things work. What did noteworthy inventors such as Philo Farnsworth do to satisfy that curiosity? Take things apart of course! Starting July 1, join our first Un-Maker In Residence, Joseph Schott, for a month long series on taking things apart. The objects and tools will be provided, and the completed disassemblies will be catalogued in photographs.
7/8 & 7/10: 4-6pm
7/15 & 7/17: 4-6pm
7/22 & 7/24: 4-6pm
7/29 & 7/31: 4-6pm
The program is made possible through a grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Sciences (IMLS).
