Improve Job Search Focus and Productivity

Deb Krawiec,
a National Certified Counselor, will discuss the use of a systematic, professional approach to job searching. "Job Search Work Teams" is a process aimed at making job hunting more effective, comfortable and 20% faster than the conventional job search. Learn how to:

  • devote more of your time to activities that are more likely to produce interviews
  • plan and organize even the most difficult job search to get the best results
  • focus your job search by defining your optimal job market
  • measure your progress in search, even prior to interviews and offers
  • and use progress measurements to diagnose and solve common job search problems.

There will be an opportunity to sign up for a Job Search Work Team here at the Westport Library after the presentation, as well a chance for networking.

Krawiec has worked in the outplacement field for over 20 years. Currently, she is Founder and Principal Career Management Consultant of Arrow Career Consulting, LLC, a Hartford-area based concern. She is also an adjunct professor at Post University where she teaches a course for students on how to launch a successful job search campaign. While employed Lee Hecht Harrison as Vice President/Career Coach, she contributed to the successful implementation and management of several career centers across the country. Krawiec has a BA from UCONN and a Master's from Southern Connecticut State University in Community Counseling, with a specific focus on career counseling.
