Introducing... Google Glass
Computer and technology expert Michael J. Miller, former PC Magazine editor-in-chief, will discuss and demonstrate Google Glass, a wearable computer that answers questions and displays information on a tiny screen above your eye. Glass, which is being developed by Google, is currently only a limited preview, but similar devices should be available for consumers in the near future. Many experts think that hands-free wearable computers are the next step after smartphones. This is your chance to see one in action.
Miller is senior vice-president for technology strategy at Ziff Brothers Investments. He was editor-in-chief of PC Magazine until 2005, responsible for the editorial direction, quality and presentation of the world's largest computer publication. Until late 2006, Miller was the Chief Content Officer for Ziff Davis Media, responsible for overseeing the editorial positions of Ziff Davis's magazines, websites, and events. As Editorial Director for Ziff Davis Publishing since 1997, Miller took an active role in helping to identify new editorial needs in the marketplace and in shaping the editorial positioning of every Ziff Davis title.
