WestportREADS 2017: January Artist-in-Residence Challenge—"Identityville" Selfie

Sunday, Jan 1, 2017 - Tuesday, Jan 31, 2017

Using an easy folded-paper technique that Miggs Burroughs will demonstrate, create an 8"x8" "Identityville" Selfie showing two parts of your personality or what you were then and now (in conjunction with WestportREADS focusing on George Hodgman's memoir Bettyville). Start brainstorming in a Workshop with Miggs on Wednesday, January 4 at 4 pm or the Family Workshop on Saturday, January 7 at 2 pm. Both workshops are in the Great Hall.

Miggs Burroughs, a Westport illustrator and photographer, is the Library's Artist-in-Residence for the year. Bring submissions any time during January to the main circulation desk. For more information, contact Jennifer Keller at jkeller [at] westportlibrary [dot] org.

WestportREADS 2017 is funded by the estate of Jerry A. Tishman.
