WestportREADSYou can read Gatsby by yourself, or you can come to the Library and have the first two chapters read to you by our host of local celebrity readers, including Library Director Maxine Bleiweis, SHS English teacher Dan Geraghty, First Selectman Gordon Joseloff, SHS principal John Dodig, Superintendent of Schools Elliott Landon, Technology Consultant Mark Mathias, and former Board of Education member Jim Marpe.

Special Opportunity: Scott and Zelda Fitzgerald lived in Westport briefly in 1920, and to celebrate their time here, former SHS English teacher Dr. Gerry Kuroghlian will give a talk about their experience in town. Twenty lucky winners will be chosen in a drawing to attend the February 2 talk, which will be at the house the Fitzgeralds rented on South Compo Road. You will receive an opportunity to enter the drawing at each WestportREADS event attended.

WestportREADS is funded by Jerry A. Tishman.
