Music: Stolen Gems—Transcriptions for Harp

Sunday, Nov 12, 2017 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM

Harpist Victoria Drake entertains with arrangements she transcribed for the harp. From a wide range of styles and genres and across several centuries, these highlight the special capacity of the harp. From well-known pieces for the cello and guitar to keyboard works of famous composers, Victoria Drake brings to the harp her own perspective on repertoire written for other instruments. She will also talk about the harp and demonstrate how it works.
