PageTurners Discuss "Ethan Frome" and "Zeena"

Tuesday, Feb 21, 2017 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Join a discussion of Ethan Frome by Edith Wharton and Zeena by Elizabeth Cooke. In Ethan Frome, a new pastor arrives in a stark Vermont village and is intrigued by crippled, misshapen Ethan Frome living on an isolated, hardscrabble farm with his sickly wife Zenobia. Zeena: A Novel is a reworking of the book Edith Wharton's Ethan Frome. Zenobia Frome is given her own voice, which she uses to tell of the events and emotions that led her to residing in the New England town of Starkfield.

For copies of the book, phone 203.291.4821. New participants always welcome. Information on more Library book groups.
