Join PageTurners for a discussion of Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI by David Grann.

This New York Times bestseller and National Book Award finalist is a true-life murder mystery about one of the most monstrous crimes in American history. The book investigates a series of murders of wealthy Osage people that took place the early 1920s—after big oil deposits were discovered beneath their land. A young bureaucrat named J. Edgar Hoover was determined to crack the case and stop the bloodshed. This was the beginning of a federal law enforcement agency: the FBI.
