The Path to Success in College: Using Technology to Support Learning

Wednesday, Nov 28, 2018 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM

How does the world of assistive and educational technology change in college? What should students and parents expect in the world of higher ed? Join Bo Zamfir, Director of the Center for Educational and Assistive Technology, in navigating the path of college transition and meaningful technology adoption as we match specific tools to collegiate tasks. We will focus on the most essential tasks for college success: organization, note taking, reading, writing, research and presentations. After introducing each task and its manifestation in the college classroom, we will match specific tools based on student needs. Many of the technology tools addressed will be useful to users beyond the classroom and during their professional life.
