Piano Music With Sandra Murphy and Rita Lapcevic
Rita Lapcevic and Sandra Shaw Murphy formed a duo-piano team upon returning to Fairfield County in their post-college years. Their musical collaboration span over 40 years beginning with joining the Silvermine Duo-Pianists which Sandra's mother, Juliet Shaw, directed for over 50 years.
They have been heard throughout Connecticut and Westchester and are known for presenting creative, diversified concerts. In addition to performing with the Silvermine Duo-Pianists, they are a yearly attraction at the Dogwood Festival in Fairfield, and they are active members of the Schubert Club of Fairfield County Duo-Pianists.
