WestportREADS: Discussion of The Man Who Would Be F. Scott Fitzgerald
Wildly bestselling first-time novelist Cam Noyes writes with a lyrical voice like F. Scott Fitzgerald and he’s the media's latest darling. He is so busy running with the brat pack and posing for magazines that he simply can't find the time to write his long-overdue second book. Enter Stewart "Hoagy" Hoag—ghostwriter of celebrity memoirs and reluctant amateur detective—to tackle Cam's tell-all expose of the dirty business behind megabuck book deals. But "cutthroat" takes on a whole new meaning as the bodies start piling up faster than the pages of the manuscript. For copies of the book, phone 203.291.4821.
Special: Scott and Zelda Fitzgerald spent some time living in Westport on Compo Beach Road, and to celebrate that, Dr. Gerry Kuroghlian, former SHS English teacher, will give a talk about their time here. Twenty lucky winners will be chosen to attend the talk, on Saturday, February 2 at 2 pm, at the house where they once lived and enjoy some light refreshments. You will receive an opportunity to enter the drawing at each WestportREADS event attended.
