Overnight Write-In

Be inspired by Patricia Dunn, and then stay the night to get a jumpstart on your novel. If you're not big on not sleeping, stop by for however long you'd like! 

Patricia Dunn,
 author of the critically acclaimed novel Rebels by Accident, gives the keynote address at 11 pm. Come just for the talk or stay and join a special overnight write-in/lock-in for the first night of NaNoWriMo at the Library. This is a part of WestportWRITES. The Westport Library is proud to be your NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) Headquarters.

There will be plenty of quiet places to work as well as a coffee stand to keep you caffeinated and writing through the night. Registration required. REGISTER NOW!

Patricia Dunn is the author of Rebels by Accident and her writing has appeared in Salon.com, Christian Science Monitor, Village Voice, The Nation, LA Weekly and others. With an MFA in creative writing from Sarah Lawrence College, where she also teaches. The Bronx raised rebel and former resident of Cairo is now settled in Connecticut, with her husband, teenage son, and toddler dog. Patricia also teaches at the Fairfield County Writers' Studio in Westport, CT.
