Workshop on Falun Dafa

Friday, Aug 4, 2017 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM

Cary Dunst, a volunteer facilitator who has been practicing Falun Dafa for 15 years, leads a workshop which includes an overview of the practice, four gentle standing exercises and the seated meditation.

Falun Dafa is an advanced practice of self-cultivation—a way to improve health and attain spiritual wisdom. The practice is from the Buddha School and is based on easy-to-learn exercises, meditation, and the values of truthfulness, compassion and tolerance. It was first introduced to the public in China in 1992. Today, Falun Dafa, also called Falun Gong, is practiced in over 100 countries around the world.
