of Special Education Programs
OSEP is dedicated to improving results for infants, toddlers,
children and youth with disabilities ages birth through 21 by providing
leadership and financial support to assist states and local districts.
OSEP administers the Individuals With Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).
IDEA authorizes formula grants to states, and discretionary grants
to institutions of higher education and other nonprofit organizations
to support research, demonstrations, technical assistance and dissemination,
technology and personnel development and parent-training and information
centers.

Education Resources on the Network
Special Education Resources on the Internet (SERI) is a collection
of Internet accessible information resources of interest to those
involved in the fields related to Special Education. This collection
exists in order to make on-line Special Education resources more easily
and readily available in one location.
Special
Ed Advocate
The site is compiled by a special education attorney to provide
parents, educators and attorneys with advocacy information and special
education law for children with disabilities.
