The Connecticut Society of Genealogists, Inc. was founded in 1968
as a nonprofit organization to encourage and promote genealogical
research and publication, to maintain and elevate genealogical standards
and to provide instructional and educational programs and publications.
Today, with a membership of 5,000+, CSG is one of the largest societies
in the United States dealing exclusively with genealogy.

Family
History Centers in Connecticut
Family History Centers provide access to most of the microfilm and
microfishe in the Family History Library to help patrons identify
their ancestors. Everyone is welcome to come to the centers and use
Family History Center resources.
