Join MakerSpace inventor Mike Altis in discovering what's in the new do-it-yourself electronics box from Ada Fruit. The Adabox is filled with curated Adafruit products focused around a theme the will help learning in one area in the world of do-it-yourself electronics. Drop by and build something together. Ages 8 & up
Learn how to create games and gadgets with LittleBits, a magnetic, color-coded circuitry kit for all ages, in this four-day program. (Note: The program runs the full four days.) They snap together with magnets; no soldering, wiring or programming needed. Create a new project each day or work on a big project like a light-up space shuttle. Build a Robot with the Library's LEGO WeDo Kits. Up to 2 siblings in grades K-5 can register with 1 parent. Families will be given a brief overview of the Kits and then they can build and program together. Register online; not transferable to other students. Materials Fee $5.
