Use your Westport Library card to download music from Freegal, an online database that provides access to major label songs from new and legendary artists.

• These MP3 files are permanently saved onto PC or Mac computers, smart phones and other devices, including iPods.
• You can download three tracks each week.  

Access Rocket Languages, an exciting online resource that allows you to learn a language at your own pace through interactive lessons.

Log in with your library card to access Rocket Languages. Create a new account or log into your existing account. Languages include Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Spanish.

NetLibrary Audiobooks

Log in with your library card . First time users must create a NetLibrary account (click Create a Free Account ). Access NetLibrary Audiobooks

Search for iPod titles on the NetLibrary site by doing an Advanced search.
Select eAudiobook format, change drop down selection box from all to MP3.

Install Media Center on your computer (will not run on a Mac) to download, listen, and transfer audiobooks to a player. iTunes must be installed for iPod compatibility. Watch a short video about the Media Center

Audiobooks are checked out for 21 days. To renew, open Media Center, click on "My Stuff", then "Checked Out Items".

Manual download using Windows Media Player

• Find a title to check out and click on “Download this Audiobook.”
• Select Check Out & Download CD quality link. Save the file on your computer.
• Open the file and enter your NetLibrary username and password.
• You can now transfer your audiobook to a portable device.
