10:00 am - Tour of the Weston Woods Studios
Weston Woods Studios is now located in Norwalk, CT. Weston Woods has enjoyed a reputation for over fifty years as the preeminent producer/distributor of motion pictures based on outstanding children’s picture books. Their ultimate goal is to motivate children to read by fueling their passion for books.
Past tour attendees enjoyed being part of the background sounds on tracks for new releases. Weston Woods productions have won critical praise and numerous awards and honors, including eight Andrew Carnegie Medals for Excellence in Children’s Video.
Originally founded by Morton Schindel in Weston, Connecticut, Weston Woods is now a division of Scholastic, Inc.
The tour will leave from the main entrance of the Westport Public Library. Registration required. The tour is for adults. Click here to register.
