are Teacher Loans?
Teachers are invited to use materials available at the Children's Library to enhance classroom assignments.
Who may use this service?
If you are a teacher who resides in Westport, use your library card for teacher loans. If you are a non-resident who teaches in any Westport school, use your current hometown library card for teacher loans.
How long may I keep the books?
Teacher loans may be borrowed for 6 weeks, and may be renewed for an additional 3 weeks if no one else has requested them.
What do I do next?
Do it yourself!
Come in and choose books from the collection. To ensure enough materials for all borrowers, limit your selections to one copy of each title. Bring your selections to the Circulation desk and tell the staff that you are borrowing materials on Teacher Loan.
We'll do it for you!
With a week's notice, we'll select materials for you. Your materials will be held at the Children's Desk on the 3rd floor. Bring your selections to the Circulation desk and tell the staff that you are borrowing materials on Teacher Loan. Call 291-4810 or email wkip@westportlibrary.org. Provide the following information:

- Arrange field trip to the library for your class.
