Connecticut Guitar Festival

The 2020 Connecticut Guitar Festival will take place the weekend of February 7-9, with three days of education, entertainment and exposition across the musical spectrum. On Friday, February 7 at 7 pm, the weekend kickoff concert features classical guitarist Mak Grgic, jazz musician Joe Carter and Instruments of the People at Westport Library.
Saturday, February 8, "GuitART" is an exposition featuring luthiers, art, photography, music and guitars starts at 4 pm at The Westport Library. The popular "Antique Guitar Roadshow," a booth where people can bring their instruments in for free, fair and honest valuation, is returning. The winners of our guitar-centric photography and art contests will be announced, and "GuitART" will feature performances by the winners of our "Best Guitarist in Connecticut" competition.
The festival continues on Sunday, February 9 at 1 pm at Westport Library with an innovative educational presentation entitled "Clash of The Guitar Minds" taught by guitarists Jernej Bervar, Mak Grgic, Paul Gabriel, and Lau Noah. The day concludes with a Pillow Concert at 3 pm, featuring our "Clash of The Guitar Minds" instructors.
