Flash Fiction: Tattoo Tales
April 23, 2021 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm EDT

We're excited to announce a new Friday evening series we like to call, How to Sound Cool at Parties! These events will feature interesting people doing and saying interesting things.
The first event in this series, Flash Fiction: Tattoo Tales, is an hour-long storytelling event centered around...you guessed it, tattoos!
Please note: This is a virtual event. REGISTER HERE
Featuring stories by authors and artists, as well as community members, storytellers will share their tattoo tales. And we'll kick off the evening with a special cocktail (with ingredients and step-by-step so you can make one at home which you watch!), crafted by Julia Halina Hadas!
Our lineup of storytellers (with more announcements to come!):
Bracken MacLeod is the Bram Stoker, Splatterpunk, and Shirley Jackson Award nominated author of the novels, is the author of the novels, MOUNTAIN HOME, STRANDED, COME TO DUST, and soon, CLOSING COSTS (coming from Houghton Mifflin Harcourt).
His short fiction has appeared in several magazines and anthologies including LampLight, ThugLit, and Splatterpunk and has been collected in WHITE KNIGHT AND OTHER PAWNS and 13 VIEWS OF THE SUICIDE WOODS, which the New York Times Book Review called, "Superb."
Before devoting himself to full time writing, he worked as a civil and criminal litigator, a university philosophy instructor, and a martial arts teacher. He lives outside of Boston with his wife and son, where he is at work on his next novel.
