Summer should be about having FUN. More than ever, kids need to try new things, explore, learn in the real world, and meet and interact with friends. Summer Learning Clubs do just that. Students will directly interact with their peers and teachers with focus on real life learning. Small group instruction will be provided in a 1:6 teacher to student ratio, facilitated by experienced K-8 certified teachers.
This group will explore the intersection of science, technology, engineering, art and math. Using the Next Generation Science Standards as a framework we will explore our world while using everyday materials to work together on a scientific inquiry. During each session students will explore and discuss an original phenomena and pose investigable questions, theories and hypotheses. Students will be encouraged to continue their exploration independently after each session.
Each class is a blended learning platform, offering the option of in-person or virtual learning. Please select ticket options carefully. The waitlist option is for the in-person class, so if tickets are sold out for the virtual option, please email Mary Parmelee at [email protected] so she can place you on a waitlist for the virtual class.
