As part of the newly launched Lundberg Family Foundation Film Series, we are offering companion master classes with the filmmakers.
Following up on our May 19 launch of the series with the documentary, Heaven Stood Still: The Incarnations of Willy DeVille, director Larry Locke presents a master class for current and aspiring documentary filmmakers:
Finding the Best Story to Tell Your Story
The class will meet on June 14 and 21, at 2 pm in Brooks Place, on the main level of The Westport Library. This is a two-part series that will focus on techniques that help to convert your idea for a film into an actual compelling documentary story. Students will be shown examples in current films and also participate in the actual process for a new film now in development.
PLEASE REGISTER HERE. (This is a free event; it is expected you will be able to attend both days.)
