About Persona Live
The Persona Live interview series will feature Connecticut business people, politicians, journalists, celebrities, athletes and more opening up about their careers, the steps they've taken to achieve success, the challenges they've overcome along the way, and the state of their respective industries.
"Working with Rob to bring the Persona Live interview series to the Library is right in sync with our mission to support and build community," said Bill Harmer, Executive Director of The Westport Library. "In fact, the transformed Library was designed with just these types of dynamic, experiential events in mind. In partnership with Rob's exciting model, we are thrilled to be able to showcase what the Library can do to foster meaningful connection and learning through these important conversations."
Persona, founded in 2019 and currently in beta, is the first user-generated social media platform focused exclusively on conversations and interviews. The app is a one-stop shop for users to record, share, and preserve their most meaningful, informative and entertaining conversations in perpetuity. Unlike other social networking platforms, Persona will provide a suite of tools for interview creation that will allow its users to conduct high-quality interviews cheaply and efficiently, whether in-person or remotely and whether for public or private consumption.
"In my media and journalism career, I learned that everyone has a story to tell. All it takes is a few good questions to bring those stories out." said Rob Simmelkjaer. "I created Persona to give users the tools to create and discover great conversations. I'm thrilled to have the amazing stage at the Westport Library to interview of a just few of the fascinating people we have here in Connecticut."
