The Westport-Weston Chamber of Commerce and Westport Library are pleased to announce a debate featuring candidates for the State Senate to be held on Tuesday, October 13th at noon.
Over the past six years, the Chamber and Library have held candidate debates focused on business and economic issues in person. However, due to the Covid-19 pandemic this year’s events will be held utilizing Zoom.
The debate on October 13th will feature incumbent State Senator Tony Hwang (R) and Michelle McCabe (D) vying for the 28th district and incumbent State Senator Will Haskell (D) and Kim Healy (R) competing for the 26th district.
Initial questions will be gathered from the Board of Directors of the Chamber. Additional questions will be solicited from the public through the Zoom chat feature. Questions should be sent to Matthew Mandell at [email protected]
