Are you in “transition”? Are you looking for a position and not getting any traction? Would you like to know how to increase your odds of getting a job sooner by 20%?
Then bring a glass of your favorite beverage and join past and present Job Search Work Team members for a Virtual Networking Happy Hour on Wednesday, September 16th at 6pm. We will hear Deb Krawiec, a National Certified Counselor, talk on “Increase Your Job Search Focus & Productivity," including an introduction to Job Search Work Teams.

After the talk, we will go into breakout rooms to hear from past and present members about their observations and experiences with The Westport Library's Job Search Work Team, which has successfully helped many members of our community land new positions.
Deb's talk with also discuss how job hunters can use a systematic, professional approach to job search. You will learn how to: devote more of your time to activities that are more likely to produce interviews; plan and organize even the most difficult job search to get the best results; focus your job search by defining your optimal job market; measure your progress in search, even prior to interviews and offers; and use progress measurements to diagnose and solve common job search problems.
Deborah Krawiec has worked in the field of Outplacement for over 20 years, primarily for the premier outplacement firm, Lee Hecht Harrison, where she held the position of Vice President/Career Coach. Deb has worked with all levels of employees from various industries and brings to her consulting sessions not only a knowledge of job search strategies, but an understanding of the business world. While at LHH, Deb was in a select group of Senior Trainers certified in the Job Search Work Team methodology by Orville Pierson, author of “Team Up! Find A Better Job Faster with a Job Search Work Team”. Deb has a Master’s Degree in Community Counseling from Southern Connecticut State University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from UConn. She is an Adjunct Professor and the Founder and Principal Career Management Consultant of Arrow Career Consulting, LLC (www.arrowcareerconsullting.com).
