Explore the personal papers of leading suffragists like Susan B. Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton while preserving their words for future generations. Participants will be helping the Library of Congress transcribe the handwritten letters and daily documents of the women demanding to vote to type. Computers and some training will be provided at each event. A guide will be posted online shortly, as well.
This event occurs twice:
Thursday, March 26 from 3-5 pm in the Board Room (210) at the Library
Saturday, March 28 from 9:30 am- noon at the Center for Senior Activities, 21 Imperial Avenue
