Wednesday, Jul 10, 2019 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM

Have you ever wondered how crossword puzzles are made? Here’s your opportunity to learn the basics from Robyn Weintraub, a New York Times puzzle constructor! You’ll learn what goes into developing a theme, designing the grid, writing clues and submitting your puzzle for publication.

Robyn Weintraub has been constructing crossword puzzles for 10 years. Her puzzles have appeared in The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times and other publications. She also co-authored an article for The New York Times’ five part series: “How to Make a Crossword Puzzle.”

Robyn lives in Westchester, New York and likes to volunteer at local crossword tournaments, including—of course—the Annual Westport Library Crossword Puzzle Contest!
