Countdown to College: Thinking Ahead… Getting Your 9th and 10th Graders Ready for the College Process

The college process can seem overwhelming, but the right planning can help. Aimed at incoming and current 9th & 10th graders and their parents, this panel of local college experts will give advice on how to be college-ready and be your best academic self right now. (Note: This is a re-scheduled date from a postponement due to weather.)

Michelle Sagalyn of Successful Study Skills for Students and Amy Chatterjee of Collegewise will give advice on study techniques and will help students and parents understand the standardized testing schedule. Tony Di Giacamo of Novella Prep will give tips on choosing courses and building a successful student resume. Ronald Feuchs of Stand out For College will advise about creating meaningful community service opportunities that will help you stand out while applying to schools.
