Lockdown Music Festival

Celebrating optimism, resilience, and the power of music.

On Saturday, March 13th at 7:00 pm, the Westport Library and the Westport-Weston Chamber of Commerce will present a virtual concert curated by rock icon Chris Frantz and produced by the Library’s audio and video production arm, Verso Studios. The concert will support the arts education of the students of the Neighborhood Studios in Bridgeport.

A Philadelphia-based artist and multi-instrumentalist.
Deep Banana Blackout: Full horn section and soulful groove imbedded in the roots of funk.
Xeno & Oaklander
An electronic music group consisting of musicians Sean McBride and Liz Wendelbo.
The Zambonis
A Connecticut based indi-rock band that write songs exclusively about ice-hockey.
Sadie Dupuis
An American poet and multi-instrumentalist.
Mystic Bowie’s Talking Dreads
A mix of roots reggae, ska and lover’s rock, also known as “romantic reggae.”
Du-Rites/ Lulu Lewis
New York City husband and wife rock band.

Chris Frantz is an American musician and record producer. He is the drummer for both Talking Heads and Tom Tom Club, which he co-founded with wife and Talking Heads bassist Tina Weymouth. In 2002, Frantz was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Talking Heads. This year Talking Heads will be honored with a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award.
