Spring Appeal 2020

Empowering Children’s Learning Over the Summer

The potential for “summer slide” that can take place when school is not in session and young people are not prompted to think and reason is greater than ever before, after this spring of COVID 19.

This summer, as in the past, the Library will have classes designed for children to practice academic skills through activities aligned with school-based curriculum and academic standards, such as literacy and reading proficiency, science, math, and writing. Beyond academic learning, summer at the Library will also foster discovery, critical thinking, and problem solving.

Our goal is to provide customized learning to meet each child where they are and help them progress over the summer months.

Let’s work together to make this happen!
