Hate crimes and hate incidents can be disturbing for those directly affected, and for the larger community, too. Unfortunately, we are not immune from these events in Connecticut.

Join us for United Against Hate, an interactive learning program held in collaboration with Westport PRIDE, the U.S. Attorney's Office, the chiefs of police from Westport and Norwalk, and Connecticut State Police’s recently formed Hate Crimes Unit.

    • Discover the difference between a Hate Incident and a Hate Crime.
    • Find out who to contact when an incident occurs and why reporting is important.
    • Hear from members of law enforcement who understand the importance of reporting and connecting with the community.

Reception begins at 6 pm, followed by the presentation at 6:30.

This is an in-person event, and registration is required.
