Westport’s own Dan Woog brings his popular blog “06880: Where Westport Meets the World” to life, via the Verso Studios at The Westport Library – recorded LIVE in the Trefz Forum! His guest this week is Dara Lamb, founder of Dara Lamb BESPOKE, a long-standing small business supplying fine custom clothing for women. Dara Lamb launched BESPOKE more than four decades ago when wearing the right outfit changed her life. Her mission since has been centered on creating custom wardrobes that help women step into leadership with clarity and authority and confidence. She is internationally recognized as the country’s leading Bespoke Designer for Women and is Vice President on the board of the Custom Tailors and Designers Association, the country’s oldest trade association. A long-time Westport resident, Dara is also deeply engaged in her community. She is a founding member and frequent spokesperson for the Westport Alliance for Saugatuck, a grassroots organization focused on thoughtful development, environmental stewardship, and preserving the Saugatuck neighborhood. She takes particular pride in the Alliance’s bipartisan nature—bringing together individuals across party lines to foster respectful dialogue, build bridges of communication, and find common ground in service of the community.
