The Westport Library has many resources for book groups, including multiple copies of the selected books and a variety of discussion guides to aid group conversation.

Morbidly Curious Book Club (Westport Chapter)

Meets the last Tuesday of every month from 7 - 8 pm in Room 212.

Currently Reading: Still Life With Bones by Alexa Hagerty

A virtual book club with thousands of global members and dozens of local chapters, MCBC explores the dark side of nonfiction with monthly selections on topics including cults, true crime, ghosts and hauntings, and medical history. For 18+.

Meets every Wednesday from 1:30 to 3 pm in The Sheffer Gallery.

Join our yarn circle/adult story time for your dose of productive relaxation! Bring your fiber arts projects to the Library on Wednesday afternoons from 1:30 to 3 pm in the Sheffer Gallery. We'll read aloud while you work on your project. Or you can just listen — no working necessary! No registration is required, and no yarn instruction provided.

Meets the first Tuesday of each month in Room 210 (Board Room).

Freestanding display in the Teen Section near the DVDs!

Stop by the Library, borrow and annotate any book with an Anonymous Book Club flyer on the front cover — and return it to the Library so other readers can see your thoughts and add their own!

Our Reader's Choice collection has a wonderful selection of titles, including award winners. New titles are added to the collection on a regular basis. Once you have selected a title for your club, please fill out the form at the bottom of this page to request copies to be held for your book group members.
