Westport’s own Dan Woog brings his popular blog “06880: Where Westport Meets the World” to life, via the Verso Studios at The Westport Library – recorded LIVE in the Trefz Forum! His guests this week are Emily and Tim Zobl, owners of The Clubhouse, a social hub and gathering space in Westport. Upon their move back to Westport in 2020, the Zobls were eager to begin their next chapter by combining their love of sports, hospitality, and culinary experiences. While Fairfield County has a thriving and dynamic restaurant scene, they recognized a pressing need for activity space in Westport. They began working on an idea for an elevated space that creates unique social opportunities, offers a fresh take on traditional club and bar classics, and brings sports and entertainment to Westport. In addition to a full bar featuring the largest videowall in Westport, The Clubhouse offers top-of-the-line Full Swing simulators, innovative Dartsee dart boards, and two state-of-the-art karaoke rooms, powered by Singa.
