The Westport Library seeks an enthusiastic, cheerful, self-motivated individual to be an active part of our Children’s Department team.
If you are creative, energetic, cheerful, and outgoing and you have a working knowledge of children’s reading interests and of current children’s literature and you relate well to both adults and children, from birth through middle school, then this may be the ideal job for you.
Requires: Bachelor’s Degree. Degree in education or child related field/previous library experience desirable. Experience with Canva or LibGuide software a plus.
Comfort with technology including Microsoft Office Suite.
Schedule: Variable depending on departmental needs. Preference will be given to candidates available for after-school, nights, and weekends shifts.
