As has become a tradition, Staples’ Orphenians presented a holiday program for the Westport community — at the Library! The Orphenians is a 47-voice choir — Staples finest voices — led by Music Director Luke Rosenberg.

The Fader-Gendron-Haas Trio performed an afternoon concert on August 7th in the Library's Trefz Forum, The program included Brahms Piano Trio no. 3 op. 101 and Mendelssohn Piano Trio no. 2 op. 66. Both trios are in the key of C minor, and offer the full range of human emotion, from fury and passion, to tenderness, mischief and religious exaltation.

In honor of the 250th anniversary of Beethoven's birth the inaugural Lundberg Family Foundation Master Series will celebrate Beethoven's work across 4 concerts in 2020, featuring performances of two Beethoven symphonies to two audiences in two locations simultaneously, on the Yamaha Disklavier piano, by pianist Frederic Chiu and then Corbin Beisner and Margarita Nuller will perform.
