The Book Sales at the Westport Library are a beloved tradition here in the community. The proceeds from the sales support Library operations and the materials are generously donated by community members throughout the year.
*A new permanent book donation center is being constructed in the Library's Upper Lot. Donations are currently paused while the center is being built. Please stay tuned for updates!*
The Library holds several large sales each year – March, Summer and Holiday.
To volunteer for the Holiday Book Sale, sign up online here or contact Jennifer Bangser at firstname.lastname@example.org.
In March, our Spring Book Sale offers four days of indoor shopping with fiction, trade paper backs, cookbooks, children’s books and much, much more.
The Library’s largest sale in July is the annual Summer Book Sale that runs for four days under the tents on Jesup Green. This sale is a treasure hunt! With tens of thousands of titles in over 50 categories, there is truly something for everyone, including rare and featured specials.
In late fall, the Holiday Book and Gift Sale features pristine, gift-worthy books and unopened DVDs and CDs. For the complete holiday shopping experience, everything in the Library Store is also on sale.
You can find books year-round for sale in the Library Café. Look for new fiction, mysteries and topical nonfiction books as well as children's books and paperbacks for $1.
