Westport’s own Dan Woog brings his popular blog “06880: Where Westport Meets the World” to life, via the Verso Studios at The Westport Library – recorded LIVE in the Trefz Forum! His guest this week is Jeff Dunkerton, an experienced municipal professional with more than a decade of service, serving as a registrar of voters, assistant town clerk, and town clerk. He is a certified Connecticut town clerk. In addition to managing budgets, payroll, and elections, he supervises land record recordings and the distribution of absentee ballots. Outside of Town Hall, Dunkerton has dedicated more than 25 years of community service in the local Volunteer Fire Department, where he currently serves as the vice president. An active community leader, he has held many different roles with the Baseball & Basketball Associations, and numerous fire department committees and events. He is also a justice of the peace and notary public.
