Caregivers are the backbone of families, but this vital role doesn't come with a set of directions — that's why home care expert Neil Anand will be at The Westport Library to offer guidance with an educational program on adapting to be a family caregiver, covering ways of adjusting to responsibilities to avoid burnout commonly experienced in this rewarding but complex role.

This program will familiarize participants with recognizing the unique challenges of family caregiving, receiving support, finding available resources, and applying practical tips to ease the stress of caregiving.

Neil Anand is the owner of ComForCare Home Care.  With years in the marketing industry and a passion for healthcare, Anand decided to set out and embark on his own journey by opening ComForCare in his hometown of Fairfield, Connecticut.  The son of physicians, Anand saw at a young age the impact caring for people had on entire families. ComForCare Home Care is a premier provider of in-home care, helping older adults live independently in their own homes and continue to do all the things they love. The home care company is committed to helping people live their best life possible and also offers special programs for people with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia.
