Interested in cutting the cord on cable? Join us for Anyone Can Use: Cutting the Cord to Cable on March 18 at 11 am in Komansky Room. This class will explore a variety of streaming services that serve as popular cable alternatives, as well as how you can use your Westport Library card to stream free films and TV series through Hoopla and Kanopy. 

We'll discuss:

  • Streaming Basics: An overview of different platforms (Netflix, Disney+, etc.) and streaming devices (Roku, Fire Stick, Chromecast).
  • Cable Replacement Alternatives: Explore services for live sports and news like YouTube TV, Hulu + Live TV.
  • Free Streaming with your Library card: Discover how to use your library card for free movies and shows via apps like Hoopla and Kanopy.
