If you were unable to register for the first session of this class and still wish to attend, please email Jeanmarie Ryan at [email protected].

Learn the basics of Java programming through fun, graphics-focused projects! Create your own games and gain an understanding of crucial computer science concepts. These classes are for anyone in seventh grade and above; adults are also welcome! Participants will need to bring their own laptops and download Processing prior to the class.

This is a cumulative class that will take place on September 27th, October 4th, and October 11th at 3:00pm each day. Please plan to attend all three sessions. When you register for September 27th, you will be admitted into all three classes.

This program will be led by a junior at Staples High School who has a passion for STEM, especially coding. He has enjoyed courses AP Computer Science and Intro to Programming, in which he learnt a lot about general coding. Additionally, he has developed a web app which won the Congressional App Challenge.
