Formed in 2002, the (almost) all-physician rock band DNR has been a community favorite for two decades, playing vintage tunes from the 1960s and 70s, including the music of Bruce Springsteen, the Rolling Stones, Van Morrison, and the Beatles.
DNR has performed at The Levitt Pavilion and has donated its time at many charitable events including fundraisers for pancreatic and breast cancer, Norwalk Hospital and ALS.
In this performance at the Library, the band will talk about their history between songs and share some behind-the-scenes stories.
Your ticket to this rock and roll fundraiser earns you entry into the event and goes to support the Library's annual programming initiatives. Over the past year, the Library has hosted more than 1,000 free programs, bringing together a remarkable 85,000+ individuals — three times our town's population! We want to continue to provide those programs, but we need your support to do so.
The Westport Library is more than a place; it's a lifeline for our community, offering unique experiences spanning arts, culture, health, civics, science, history, and technology. These experiences foster engagement, spark conversations, facilitate learning, and enrich our community’s lives in a myriad of ways.
Join us in supporting this invaluable resource — and don't miss this rockin’ concert!
