In partnership with StartUp Westport, The Westport Library is honored to host Westporter Dan Bikel, a key member of the AI community at Meta.
A meet-and-greet cocktail reception begins at 6:30 pm. Program begins at 7 pm.
Bikel has worked as a natural language processing researcher at BBN Technologies, IBM Research, LinkedIn, and Google Research. Currently, he is an AI research scientist at Meta AI, helping lead efforts on large language models. Bikel has an AB from Harvard in Classics–Ancient Greek and Latin, and received his MS and PhD degrees from the University of Pennsylvania in computer science.
