Please note: Unfortunately, Dan Bikel is unable to join us for Thursday's previously scheduled talk on generative artificial intelligence. Startup Westport and The Westport Library, however, have the good fortune of instead hosting Connecticut Chief Innovation Officer Dan O'Keefe, who will be in the Library's Trefz Forum at the same date and time to discuss Connecticut's innovation economy.
In case you missed the event, you may watch the recorded program here.
A meet-and-greet cocktail reception begins at 6:30 pm.
Program begins at 7 pm
Daniel H. O’Keefe is the newly appointed Chief Innovation Officer for the State of Connecticut. His growth equity investing career includes work as Managing Partner at Apax Digital and General Partner at TCV.
Dan (pictured above) serves as chairman of The Opportunity Network, an education focused non-profit reaching more than 40,000 high potential students from historically underrepresented communities. OppNet is also actively supported by the Apax Foundation.
Dan holds an MBA with High Distinction (Baker Scholar) from the Harvard Business School, where he served as president of its alumni board, and an AB from Brown University, where he serves on its President’s Leadership Council.
