Join us in this three-session workshop and learn basic words and phrases in American Sign Language. This program is taught by Talia Moskowitz and Tessa Cassell of the Staples High School ASL Club in a relaxed and fun setting.
We will learn how to sign the alphabet, and signs for greetings, numbers, family members, emotions, and hobbies, so that students can communicate with basic ASL phrases. We’ll learn through direct instruction, interactive video, and lots of time to practice.
If you’re interested in having fun while learning a new language, we’d love to see you at The Westport Library!
Participants must be able to attend all three sessions. These classes are not a continuation of our winter sessions; they are an introduction to ASL.
